Nutrition

“I am passionate about the quality of food that we eat, and the impact it has on our health and well being.

Your body needs a wide variety of nutrients to keep it healthy, but modern day diets do not always provide all of these nutrients. Poorly functioning digestive systems can reduce the absorption of nutrients even if your diet is healthy. Stress, medication, alcohol, smoking and environmental toxins can also place our bodies under stress and deplete nutrients.

Nutritional Therapy can help you to identify your individual nutritional deficiencies, and show how you can improve your health and vitality through the food that you eat. Eating well can boost your immune system, ease inflammation, improve your energy and help your mind and body to function better.

My approach to Nutritional Therapy
I believe that good nutrition, and a healthy digestive system, is essential to good health. I also Believe that eating should be a pleasure. My aim is to work with you to develop healthy eating plans that you will enjoy.

We all have different needs, so my programmes are designed on an individual basis. After our first consultation, I will prepare a Personal Nutrition Plan, designed to suit your lifestyle and your food preferences, as well as addressing your health issues. I will work with you to prepare a plan that you can stick to, with food you enjoy, to help you to achieve your goals. My preference is to focus on the food we eat, but vitamin and mineral supplements may be recommended to support dietary changes.
